about every 4-5 weeks, we have what's called an "Insider's Day" at my school. basically, professionals from the music industry come and talk to the students (i.e. tell stories, give advice, etc). well, today was probably the best one of the 6 or 7 seven that I've been to so far.

the first is about an event happening in San Francisco next week. it is called "Innovation Salon" and is being organized by BAVC (Bay Area Video Coalition). it will be a meeting of local musicians, producers, owners and others involved the Bay Area music industry. if you're in or around SF on Thursday the 28th, and into music, you should check it out.
