It has definitely been a loooooong time since my last blog, so I thought an update is in order. Completed the portfolio section of my National Board attempt. I wish I could say that I feel good about the portfolios, but I don't. I take my modules test on May 13th, then wait until the fall to hear the verdict.

It's really funny but as I am swamped, working on my national certification, I exhibit the same behaviors that I hate to see in my students... procrastination, apathy, laziness. Nothing like a little self reflection to put everything in perspective. I will now treat myself as I would my students.. a swift kick in the pants and a quick look around to see how I have been blessed.

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and will continue to enjoy themselves throughout the New Year's celebrations. Everything was great here. Spent lots of time with family and friends. Santa was a big hit with the children. I have spent an inordinate amount of time playing the Haloz. Since joining  2old2playhalo I have had a blast. Great people . In my last blog I mentioned that life was very good and that , to use an old adage from football, I outkicked my coverage when it came to my wife. Someone ( no names will be used in order to protect the innocent..cough..Wamam87) suggested that without pics my thoughts were merely speculation. I have decided to defend my honor and give proof that I am avery blessed man when it comes to my family. Uhhh. someone want to tell how I can put pictures on this thing.
