Halo 3 Beta Invite Received

Shortly after receiving the initial Halo 3 Beta information e-mail I received another e-mail that I was selected to participate in the Beta.

I'm looking forward to it, and I'm happy because I wasn't going to  qualify for the beta by the other methods.

Sorry, but there are too many games out for me to pay $60.00 to participate in a test and I don't want the free game they are throwing in (Crackdown).

I also wouldn't do the equivalent of waiting in line for a console and play Halo 2 for hours just hoping to get my golden ticket.

I hope plenty of 2old2play folks get invites so we can all play online, especially after listening to the cry-baby ranting from non-2old2play folks that went on tonight during a round of RB6:V Sharpshooter about the "injustice" of the game.

Im right there with ya bro as far as not wanting to pay $60 for the game I dont want just to play the BETA!! I know itll be a long wait, but I think I can make it. With the new H2 MP maps coming out soon, maybe that will hold me over.

I preordered Crackdown so I'm right there with those who have a beta code (as long as Gamestop fulfills their promise of all preorders getting copies with the invite). I don't feel I paid $60 for a beta and got a free game, thankfully, I'm quite looking forward to Crackdown. Reports say it's just plain fun to play, so perhaps everyone who thinks it's a sub-par game should give the demo (out today) a try. You might just love it and want to get the game and then you have 2 codes and you can auction the second one off on eBay for a better profit margin than a PS3.
