Woohoo!!!

Yes it is a happy day for DIE!!!

I finally got word that the PO has gone through that gives me a job for another year! It’s like an early Birthday present!!!

As some of you may have noticed (and I’m sure most of you have not), I have been on the forums a lot over the past couple of months due to the fact that we’ve been waiting for our 2006 contract. The past 2 months we have been sitting on our asses awaiting the contract status (damn thing should have been decided at the end of 2005) which has caused me great worry and frustration.

Basically my job is on a year to year contract and has been for about 4 years. After the phone center closed; my boss, partner and I moved into a small office to continue running our contract on the assumption the contract would expire at the end of the year. Well, 4 years later and I am still here in a very comfortable position. I may not make a whole lot of bank but I have been working for this company for 10 years and the comfort level makes up for the average pay.
