Shared on Thu, 03/09/2006 - 17:44So I tutor physics at a community college on thursday nights and sunday afternoons, which is when most of my entries will be made. So here I go.
I dont have a lot of extra cash laying around (hence the tutoring outside of my real job). So when I decided it was time to get a new 360 game, I decided it was time to trade in COD2 and PGR2, id had my fun with them both anyway. I picked up fight night round 3, pretty sweet. Most people have seen the demo on Live Marketplace, which is where I got hooked. It was just so easy to pick up and play. In the demo I have knocked out Roy Jones Jr every way possible (my favorite is still the elbow to the head). When I made the progression to the REAL game I quickly started a career mode in which I created myself as a boxer. Just like me he is 6-2 160ish middlewieght, ripped as hell. When my wife saw it she said, "You do know that really doesnt look like you right?" I say "yes but his face does, and his body is remminiscent of my high school wresltling days." (plus about 6 inches in height). Hey, a guy can dream right. The game is just outright addictive. I may have to fork out real money for the next title I have my eyes on, GRAW.
It just gets tougher with each new 360 title (even XBLA ones) to pop Halo2 back in and play matchmaking with my clan O7AH (www.O7AH.net, an alliance involving my college days clan). Nevertheless, with my limited time for gaming, I manage to squeeze alittle H2 action in each time I play.
I am thinking about hosting a LAN party for my clan in a few weeks, we will see how it goes. If it happens, a full recap will appear here.
