Cross your fingers for me!

Today is my birthday and I didn't ask for much from my husband. Asked for two DVD's and Guitar Hero II for the 360. I keep hoping to entice him to play games with me. No such luck. He likes racing games and that's it. (tho he doesn't ever play any of the games I have that ARE racing games anymore). I have the PS2 original GH game. Sadly I have only tried it on easy mode. I have seen what others can do such as the video of the guy doing XYZ by Rush on Expert and then smashing the guitar..(which was FUNNY especially since it wasn't HIS...LOL). For my birthday we are meeting some of my grad school pals at the Long Beach Ice Dogs hockey game in downtown Long Beach. It is their final home game of the season which was a HORRIBLE season. They started out badly and never got out of last place. I have gone to only half the games this year tho I have a season seat. Lucky they have a "never a wasted ticket" policy so am using my unused tickets to get my friends in tonight. Between now and then I need to get my behind busy with my papers. I did manage to finish one of the assignments yesterday and got started on one of the others. I am taking Monday off from work so can use that day to work on it if I choose to goof off today for my birthday. I would like to finish the thieves guild guest line. It is really scary how it is so impossible to put it down once you get started. I didn'te aven eat dinner yesterday. Got home about 5pm and proceeded to play Oblivion until past 10:30pm!
