Forza Motorsport 4: Drifting

Last night in Forza 4 was the first few matches I had in a long time. My first set of private matches were for my clan's orientation. We played Circuit and Tag modes. My next set of private matches were from a friend's invite. He choose Drifting mode for one of the matches. I never played Drifting mode before - not even in the career mode yet. So it went like this:

Apparently you have to drift around the track to gain points. The driver with the most points wins and also finishes the laps. Well, i chose the wrong car to drift and the host chose the wrong mode to play. I had no idea what was going on until I saw him rack up 1,000s of points. I tried to drift but I failed miserably. In other racing games, I'm a very good drifter, but in Forza 4, I suck at least for now. I don't know the rules for drifting in the game. I started to rack up points only for it to disappear. Maybe I went off the track or stopped my vehicle too soon.

In any case, I lost that race, and the next two the following. The host's driver level was much higher than mine which means he was a better driver than I was. He also chose higher class cars, well same class but higher stats. Don't know if he had better cars in his arsenal or i just don't know crap about cars. I'm guessing its the former.

Lucky for me my clan 2Old4Forza is having a noob racing event saturdays. I can learn the ways of Forza driving!
