Hello...is this thing on?  I still recognize a few names, and I still see some of you on the Facebook.  Yep, I got nothing, just checking in for the first time in years!!  Metal on \m/

It's been a long time since i been in the neighborhood of 2old2play.  Still gaming when I get the chance, haven't upgraded to Xbox one yet, still chugging along on the 360, most recent game I've been spending time on is Assassin's Creed Black Flag, fun game.  Anyway, I have found myself in a new career, in stage, audio and visual production.  Been doing that for almost 2 years now, been involved in putting together a lot of cool shows and events.  I worked Rocklahoma last year, and Phases Of The Moon in Danville Illinois last September, most recently I worked Pointfest in St.

Finally got Bossk done on my "Bounty Hunter leg".  Next step..IG-88

I'm sure you've heard that Slayer's guitarist Jeff Hanneman passed away yesterday due to liver failure.  I haven't been hit this hard losing a hero since Dimebag.  Slayer was my favorite band in high school, and still to this day.  I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff in 1996 on their Divine Intervention tour.  Really nice guy, a real cut up!!!  Metal lost another icon, and pioneering riff master. 

My band Kurmudgeon had a show the night of his passing and we dedicated our set, and our Slayer homage to Jeff, here it is.

My band Kurmudgeon played our 2nd show last night, it was our new guitarist's first time being on stage and he rocked it like nobody's business.  The show was awesome, a 3 band bill....so much energy was put out by the band and the crowd, that it reminded me why I love doing it so much!!! 

Here's a couple of songs we did, the first is called Electric Wench, part 1 of a 3 song story about a time traveling bounty hunter and his longing for a post apocalyptic stripper  lol.

My new band Kurmudgeon is getting ready to break loose.  After months of failed guitarist's we finally found a shredder.  A 20 year old with the guitar soul of an 80's and 90's metal head!!!  Were heading to the studio this Sunday to record 3 songs, and Thursday April 11th will be our first show.  You can check it out and follow here:

My Columbian Red Tailed Boa named Mustaffar had a swelling show up over the course of 3 weeks on her nose, it kept getting bigger with time, so I took her in this morning to the vet.  Turned out she had an infected abscess, still unclear on how or why, but the vet lanced it and drained it....gross as hell....lost my appetite lol.  But all went well, and she was so well behaved, the whole staff had to come see her, and take pics, they even put her up on their website!!!  I'm glad that she's ok...here are the pics the staff took.
