So last month, I entered a contest on Gamespot, like many others I was not too optimistic on the outcome. I will say that lately it seems that I have been having a bit of luck with contests and giveaways on social media and the like. I won a Highlander mug, which came with a surprise gift of The Highander: The Raven DVD series and a cool Highlander pin times two; yup got two mugs, two DVD sets and two pins, awesome.

So yesterday was my birthday, yeah me.... What sucks is that I am out right now, work offshore. So my gaming is limited to my Vita or tablet, with no online play .

So just an update, I recently got offered a job in the oil and gas industry. Since then I have relocated back to my home state of Texas, sans family. In training for the week and scheduled to start working on Saturday. Yay me, sad thing is that I will have little to no time for gaming .

You would think with all the time off I have now that I would be gaming more, but nope, all my energy and effort is being focused on some much needed family time and job/house hunting.

I would like to also apologize for the bombardment of requests from various networking sites to any that may have recieved them. I am trying to find a career that focuses on what I have a trade in but I am willing to learn anything new. So if anyone knows of any companies that are hiring or in need of an Electronics Tech with eleven plus years of experience, let me know.

So I have been using Fire Fox for a while now and I love it. The fact that I can link my laptop and my phone so that I have all my bookmarks and such is great. But I want to know what are the benefits of Chrome, besides being able to auto login to your google account and what not. Do any of you guys use Chrome? What do you like about it and what do you not like about it?

So for those of you who do not know, I have become part of the 2O2P Writing staff. I just  finished my first game review and it should be coming out soon. Thing is, this is the first time that I have written something that might possibly be read by many people, not only read, but taken into consideration by those people. Those looking for an opinion of a game that isn't coming from a desk jockey ( no offense to any one the makes a living writing reviews). I'm just your typical guy, a father, a husband, a gamer and a member of the U.S. Navy. Why would any one listen to what I have to say.

I go t the FEB, the week that followed was the most aggrivating because I was not able to connect my Vita to my PC.

Just saw this on IGN

So this was my first year to actually go out and participate in black Friday. My wife sent me out to toys r' us for a couple of leapster 2 for my two youngest daughters. When I got there at around six thirty there was already a line that was going to the back of the building, by the time they opened the doors at nine, the line was going down and around the Ralph's next to it. While I was able to get the things I (my wife) wanted it was getting out that was the problem. I had to wait in line for another two hours just to buy my four items.
