I agree with Parcells and I had the same trouble driving in the dark. Night racing sucks unless you are at a well lit oval track, such as Daytona. Otherwise, you like wet and/or night racing until you actually do it, which none of us have ever done in Forza.
I can't wait to run the RB Jr in the night time rain at the Nurburgring for 24 hours.
Guys, the next race is at Tokyo R246, 24 laps, no weather or night. Strictly day conditions. I'll try to update the OP by Wednesday night. Busy RL and Sim Racing life is getting outta hand. Sorry.

Guys sorry I left I was so far off the pace I was frustrating myself and kept making mistakes, I don't know if it's just because I'm not used to gt6 or if it's because I have no tune on the car, all I can say is I would have been a danger to all on track when it came round to lapping me as I was at least 5 seconds a lap off. Hope to see you guys next week

Same deal for me guys. I was on lap 7 and was 43 seconds down to the leader, and yes, I had the Racing Softs on. Its just no fun to race by myself. Moreover, it seems like whenever someone is on my tail I get bumped.
I am going to take a break from GT6 until multi-monitor support is added.
Man just an awfull race for me today. After my pitstop my car just would not turn. Get to the apex and straight out to the wal,dunno. Since I was at the back I decided to make a second stop and the car was fine,weird! Also I noticed a big difference in drafting different people. Had Brnt and Parcells down the straight,whale of a draft behind Brnt,noticed Parcells pulling lead on him so got behind Parcells and nothing,wall of air and he started pulling away,got back behind Brnt and drafted right back up. Lol that was when we were 3 wide coming to turn 1 so I backed off.
I was using race mediums to start I guess. Didn't realize if you changed them to softs in practice they would switch back to what you were running when you initially got into the lobby with when you do qualifying and race. Then when I pitted I didn't get to pick what tires and how much gas either, hate when you don't get that screen when you come into the pits.Oh and here is a recap of the race.
To everyone - thanks for showing up and competing. These races are a pleasure. I had some great battles and qualified okay but strategy is not my strong point. Hope you guys are enjoying the series. I know I am. Updates to the OP tonight.
Strange race today as we hada number of drops with Brnt getting a blacked out screen, Wheels and Indy both dropping and no sign of Snappy (I hope all is alright Snappy).

3G's...Sorry for the Drop...It must have been a Full Moon Type of Day...First I couldn't hear anyone talking...Then I couldn't hear ANYTHING...Then when I hit the brakes the car just kept going...Then everything worked...Then Everything didn't...That is when I dropped...It Happens..Next Week!!

My launch ps3 is griefing me with random black screen/no signal crap. It's a video output thing cuz the game is still running everything is good I just loose the video to black screen, can uplug the cable and plug back in and it will give it to me back most times but just temporarily. Finally attribute to old ps3 and heat. Dusted it out good, will see if that takes care of the problem, keeping fingers crossed.
Struggled the whole race. I'm back to zero consistency. Throughout the whole race I ran maybe 3 respectable laps, everything else was off track backwards wall penetration.
Trying to get comfortable in GT, it's tough on a pad coming off of FM. Maybe someday I can compete again. I'm having a blast though, it's just going to take a long while to get settled into a solid groove.

Too bad we ran late getting this in and Grim wasn't able to finish the race cuz he was on fire at Bathurst. However he did slow up for the field so he could get in some decent racing from time to time. I sure liked the walls at this track for some reason and loved the time progression to dark. Congrats to Xsite on the win! Was a fun race the first 10 laps were pretty sweet. The car and the series was a hit imo, and am willing to do it again. Thx fellow racers and to Snappy!
Thanks everyone. I thought it would be a great car and it seems like most of the races were a good time. Sorry for the late start today. I don't have anything planned for the near future. I had lots of ideas but the nice weather is coming so I doubt I will be doing any races during the day EST.
