GT6 Tuning/Build Sheet

Hey Guys - Until we can share tunes, I have started on the creation of a build/tuning sheet that I plan to use and can offer it up to others.

Right now, its in excel format with drop downs for most of the build options.  Here is what it looks like on Google Docs

Link - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkjeJ12H53YmdDN6aUpBSHJueEdnTnFTRmNfajl1QVE&usp=sharing

If anyone is interested in a copy of it, PM me your email address and I'll send it over.  Would be great if you create a tune you are happy with and get the details shared out to everyone.  Its not ideal but its a start

I have add 100 sheets to any can add to the collection.  Once you enter your car, edit the Tab Name at the bottom with the year and make of your car.

Steps for adding info to your Forum Post - Not as easy as it was with the older version of the forum editor, sorry

1 - Enter info on Individual Tuning Sheet
2 - Select and copy cells on Tuning Sheet
3 - Past in Forum topic
4 - Right Click anywhere in the middle gray column and select Cell  -- Cell Properties
5 - Enter 10 in the "Width" field and click OK
6 - Right Click anwhere in the table (tuning sheet) and select Table Properties
7 - Enter 600 in the "Width" field and 2 in the "Border Size" and click OK
8 - Select all the ext in the table and change the text size to 8 using the forum editor options

Hope so however I plan to keep using these for myself (and anyone else who wants them) since you can only keep three tunes per car.  From what I have experienced, I will need a lowered stiffer tune form the flat tracks while having a raised shofter toon from some of the rougher tracks.  That alone will take up two slots and that is for just one PP setting

Here is what it will look like once you complete the tuning sheet. I would love to get anyone's opinion on the tune as this is a new experience for me with the GT6 tuning model and still not sure on some of the settings  Also, if anyone has any suggestions on the actual tuning sheet, please let me know.

Looks awesome Grimm. If that's an anniversary car (or relatively cheap) I'll give it a go on the weekend or sooner.

Three years of GT5 and I've only dabbled with tuning a few cars :) but it definitely helps. Takes me forever to tune and the end result is typically lacking. Will be nice to have some good tuners around.

Yes it is an Anniversary car

I wish there was some sort of cross walk table for FM4 class to GT6 PP values so I can get a feel for who the numbers compare.

Also, I would not call myself a good tuner.  Time will tell on that but my guess is that I would be decent at best

So far, I have three cars tuned and posted and hope to get three more Tuesday

I have updated version 2 of the tuning/build sheet.  Allows for a better flow and copies to the forums better.  The MS Excel version has drop down lists for all the aditional parts which makes it easier to complete.  PM me your email address if you want the excel version.  Here is what it looks like

Thanks guys for the interest and I will get it out to you in the next day or two.  Trying to work out how you can easily copy and past the info into the forums without it turning to shit or without having to jump through hoops to get it posted.

So here is the lastest version which includes build costs.  Anythig else you guys would find useful to be captured on these sheets?  My next step is to be able to find an easy way to post these into the forums easily.

Thanks again

Grim this is a great idea. I think what im going to do today is look through all the race series available to me and see if there are any common performance point regulations then build some cars around those for everyone to use. Hopefully it will make grinding through the career races easier and cheaper for everyone.
