I've read the Winter Soldier comics as well, and I think this movie nailed the tone and actually kept all the elements that were good about the comic but the conspiracy was actually much better in the movie than in the comic.
They say to watch the movie before you watch the latest episode of Agents of Shield (Turn, Turn, Turn). You don't NEED to, but if you're a fan of the Marvel world it'll enhance the story

I just watched "Turn, turn, turn" last night, it definitely shook up how AoS will be playing out for the rest of the season. It does slightly spoil Winter Soldier, however, arguably AoS doesnt mention anything that hasn't already been featured in a trailer.
Saw it Friday. Awesome. Nuff said.
Loved it! With a subject matter that's a smidge more serious, Cap has grown up without sacrificing any of the whiz bang action.

Might take my daughter to see it next weekend. I used to watch Agents of Sheild but grew bored of the series after the 5th epsisode I think.
The show definitely started out slow. It has gotten much better since.
And I will say this... seeing the movie will probably make the whole "Ward" situation make a bit more sense
I'm guessing if they carried the storyline over it should really shake up the series a bit. I'll have to look at it this afternoon, hehe.
