New Releases: Week of November 29th, 2015

In my last New Release article I noted we were coming to an end of the blockbuster triple A game season. This week I am sad to announce that this week is pretty much the last of it. Past the titles below there is little to no excitement until well into the new year.

I apologize if I burst your post US Thanksgiving bubble but I always felt it's better to just rip that bandage off.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
Release Date: December 1st, 2015
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

I have said it before and I’ll say it here - Multiplayer only games are not my thing. I loved the other Rainbow Six games but if this is strictly multiplayer I’m out. If people would actually coordinate, make a plan and play as a team (which will be critical in Rainbow Six Siege) then it might be fun for me...but they don’t...so it’s not. It’s too bad because this game looks so good!

Just Cause 3
Release Date: December 1st, 2015
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One

Become Rico Rodriguez once again in the third installment of Just Cause. I am pretty sure the title of these open world adventure games has always meant two things
That your actions during the game are in the name of ”just cause”.
The crap you can do, blow up and whatever else you dream up is “just (be)cause”

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Release Date: December 1st, 2015
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One

Torn Banner Studios self published the PC version of this back in 2012. 3 Years later the next gen consoles get a piece of 24 person multiplayer medieval action.

Xenoblade Chronicles X
Release Date: December 1st, 2015
Platforms: WiiU

https://youtu.be/m_h80NRMm9A

This is quite possibly the most amazing looking WiiU game I have ever laid eyes on. To the point that I actually went to the Nintendo site and put a recycled WiiU in my cart before I had a stare down at my wallet and my conscience kicked in. “Christmas is coming and the kids need presents.” they both said. I started to state my case but realized neither of my kids would have any interest in this game which leads me to buy more games they would be interested in and my wallet just looked me with those empty eyes of his and I knew I would lose. Damn.
