Coffin Arrived

MS said it would take a week to get the coffin.. .and it took a week.

I got the coffin yesterday, so I packed up my console and shipped it off today. The good news is that its only being shipped a short distance from me to be repaired. Hopefully I will have the console back sooner than the estimated four weeks.

Three Red Lights... AGAIN!

My 360 died again the other night... about four weeks after I received my repaired xBox after it's first failure.  This time it failed while I was watching a movie:  Number 23.

The console died on July 24 (07.24.2007).  That's 7+2+4+2+7 = 22.  I was watching the move for the first time so add 1.  That's 23! Spooky eh!?!

Canadianisms

On the way home from work yesterday I was listening to the radio in the car.  They were talking about some book that was recently released outlining some of the things uniquely Canadian (Canadianisms).

There were quite a few that really suprised me.  I had no idea that our neighbours to the south were not familiar with the products/phrases:

Ultrasound

My wife and I went for our first ultrasound this morning (12 weeks).  We won't get the official results for a few days but everything looked really good.  We saw two arms and two legs and a beating heart!

It was the strangest feeling... sitting there with my wife while we watched the monitor to see our little one.  It made the whole experience very real for me.

I snuck one past the goalie!

That's right... get ready to add another Canadian to the population!  My wife (Tracey) and I are expecting our first child.

Tracey is expected to deliver September 13th.  We are currently three months along.
