I went to a ground breaking today. The Cleveland Indians are saying goodbye to the Grapefuit (spring training) League and moving to the Cactus League. My wife is an urban planner at the law firm representing the land owner for the Indians' new stadium. It's going to be right here in our little City of Goodyear, AZ. My wife was also a former city planner for the city. Anyway, the groundbreaking for the new training facility was today, or yesterday because it's now almost one in the moring.

Today is a good day in the life of this Halo nut. I went to pick up my H3 wireless headset and they had the limited editon controllers as well. I didn't think I would be able to get one because I missed out on the preordering. They only had the human controller though. The guys at Gamestop told my the EB Games down the street had the Covie ones available but when I got there they only had preorders. The manager told me to check back to see if anyone doesn't pick them up. I also got the chat pad for the controller. It's so nice. I got to use it when I was at Bungie and let me tell you.

To answer some questions, I was thinking of the ones with all of the intricate line work and the visor one for between the shoulders. All others were gonna be for on the shoulder. These next options are for the shoulder as well and I think I will probably go with one of these because I'm a little chicken to do the others.

Some of you have made concerns that I should be open to artist's styles and interpretation. I totally am. Make no mistake about it. I know I'm not a tattoo artist but I am an artist in my own right. I have extremely high standards and I won't allow anyone to put needle to skin until I find something that I and a tattoo artist click on. I am deffinitely going to print all of these out and bring them with me in my search for the right artist. What I'm looking for from your comments are which ones you think would be great tattoos.

So, I've been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo. I don't currently have one but I've always wanted one. I have been thinking for a few months now that I want to commemorate my Bungie experience and first game title with some ink. Below are some early concepts. I think the 7 petaled logo flowers are cool but they might look too girly. The other is the classic legendary shield with the 3 logo emblazoned on the skull.
