So, yes, I am an Apple fanboy, but not one who was waiting in line in June for the $600 latest and greatest.  I've had the same treo for 2.5 years and let's just say I am using epoxy now to keep it together.  I heard a rumor about this week's iPhone pricedrop, but I did not think it was going to be $200.  I heard from it all my early adopter friends, and the $100 credit from Steve Jobs helped settle everyone down, but they knew what they were getting into back then.

I for one really, really want the model of an online DVD and game rental combination to work.  Gameznflix is pretty much the only one left out there.  I am a member, have some free months due to my complaints about not receiving items, and they told me about all the positive changes happening.  They just re-launched the website, but until they fix the fulfillment issue, I don't think it is going to gain traction.  They have great prices, but if you never get anything, then it's throwing money away.

So the other day we had a few power outages and everything seemed fine, but I could not log on to xbox live. Then I could log on, but then it would disconnect. Thus ensued a few days of resetting everything, upgrading firmware for the umpteenth time, yada, yada, yada. Same thing. So I finally broke down and begrudgeingly called M$ support (while my free hand was gouging my eye out). It actually wasn't too bad, but they could not shed any light on the situation after running through all their suggestions - I had already done them all.
