In the SWTOR arena, am starting to get burned out. I have 2 50's now and am very close to a 3rd. My mandalorian mercenary is 42. I'm enjoying the Mando RP a lot, but other than that there isn't much in it for me anymore. But the new expansion "Rise of the Hutt Cartel" is coming out sometime this spring and that MAY add a bit of spark to it for me. Project Invicta does an RP Adventure datacron crawl/world boss takedown every Tuesday. It's probably the most fun you can have with a mouse and keyboard. Our girl Poison posts the videos on YouTube. Thought I'd share. In the first one I'm on Succubix. That was the Aderaan world boss, apparently a rare one. Most of the group had never even seen it before. The second one I'm on Brynn'jaree. That one's on Taris.

Just downloaded Leviathan for ME3!

And who else is excited for Hearthfire! I personally have always been a huge fan of the sim games and I'm glad that Skyrim is bringing some of those to the table. I can't wait to customize my house! And adopt some kids! And grow crops and feed cows and build furniture and fight off giants and teach my kids how to be AWESOME adventurers!

I finally broke down and joined a guild. I figured, I have to get over my fear of being in a group setting. Also, I'm to the point where the game is not fun anymore, I want someone to play it with on a regular basis. I found a good guild, Old Republic Dads (and mom's too apparently). It's pretty big (600+ members) with a dedicated chat channel and a robust web community. It's also specifically for working parents, which means no pressure to join in organized events, people on at all hours of the night and a pretty laid back play style. I have high hopes.

I finally finished Chapter 1 with my Sith Warrior. I've set up my legacy as well. I broke Nomen Karr and turned him, then I broke Jaesa Willsaam and made her kill her former master. I now have the title of Lord of the Sith and have acquired a decidedly crazier Jaesa Willsaam as my apprentice. Exciting stuff. My SW is a 32 now. I want to get to 50 so I can have all-Sith republic characters. The Sith will rule the galaxy! For the Empire!

So update 1.2 had some good additions I think. LOVES:

Extended action bars

The ability to loot multiple bodies in the same area at once

I especially like how the final stage of bonus missions now require you to activate them. I always hated it when you'd get to the last stage and have to kill the mini-boss, only to find that there was a line of 10 people waiting for them to respawn.

When the ending of a game makes you sob like a baby for the characters you've come to love, the relationships you've formed and the amazing things you've accomplished... you know you've found a very special game. Mass Effect has, from the very beginning, completely immersed me. I liken it to a good book (or series of books). You start to become part of the story. You get emotionally invested in it. That's what makes a great game, in my opinion anyway.

Here's the thing. I like the idea of a Guild because occasionally I am feeling social and I'd like to have someone I can hit up to do a Heroic quest or a flashpoint with. (Look at me with the geek lingo down and shit!). But I don't want to be that fat chick on The Guild that corrals her dirty, hungry, screaming kids in a filthy kitchen so she can go raiding 7 nights a week. I don't drink Mountain Dew Code Red and I'm usually getting tired around 8:30 pm EST.
