Conversation with an almost 3 year old

Here is a conversation I had with my almost 3 year old

Me: So how was school (day-care) today

Kid: good

Me: So what did you do?

Kid: umm... umm. Played

Me: That's good. Were you good today?

Kid: umm... umm. Yeah

Me: Are you sure? What about the note?

Kid: I was in timeout.

Me: Yes, I saw that. Why were you in timeout?

Kid: umm... umm.

Me: Did you bite someone today?

Lesson Learned

Ok.. It has been a while since I wrote something here.  Well, I have tried to a couple of times but it just seemed like it wasn't worth writing.  My daughter isn't always sick.. Just a loser dad that doesn't write.

Sick Child

While the rest of you are working hard,well some of you are working hard, I am home taking care of a sick child.  She is almost 3 and caught a virus I guess.  A little throw-up Saturday night and the squirts last night.  Then another throw up at 3:00 am this morning.   I will probably get on XBL during her nap so I will be able to see who really works hard during the day.

Sick Child

Bad Week

The week started out great.  I paid off my truck finally.  But then the bad news starts.  I smelled something hot on the truck on Monday.  I park the truck in the driweway get out and see a puddle of oil below the truck.  I take it to a garage and guess what.  The truck blew and oil pan gasket? Now, how does that happen?  No problem, I have a warranty with the truck.  More bad news, the warranty was for 48 months.  It expired Nov. 21.  WTC!!  SO 390 friggin dollars later I get the truck fixed.  Not a way I wanted to spend my Christmas money.
