 For the last 2 weeks I've been making trim for a new house. They went with an old style trim which I enjoy making. Its a 2 story home and the upstairs they wanted painted trim so I chose aspen to make the trim out of. The main floor they want stained wood and I chose Black ash. Black ash is a lot like oak except it has wilder grains.

 They've added a few things to the job like a TV cabinet with a fireplace beneath the TV.  The owner loves his gun and he wants me to build a gun cabinet to fit 50 plus guns. That should be fun building.

Well I had an awesome day so far. I messed around in my shop for a while today. I finished building a cabinet for a customer.

 WAHHOOOO Tomorrow's my Birthday. I'll be 44.

Gonna take tomorrow off and do what ever I want because its the only day of the year I can.  You know what I'm talking about...The unwritten rule where the birthday boy can do what ever he wants.
