Just killing some time...

So, started classes today using Solaris. A full class - 10 students, 9 guys and one woman. Despite that, this is going to be a slooow week unless this group starts getting active. I wasn't yawning, but I felt like nodding off several times. It doesn't help when the instructor is going over the basics of hard drive design & interfaces before getting to reconfiguring, slicing and mounting. Damit, I learned hard drive design over 20 years ago (MFM -> RLL -> IDE -> UDMA -> PATA -> SATA & varieties of SCSI).

So far, so good...

I took the weekend off from work. I have training all this next week, so I need to try to get myself acclimated to an early schedule. I can't be yawning every five or ten minutes in this next class like I was doing in the previous classes. Hopefully it will work.

I have Project Sylpheed for the 360 sitting here waiting for some attention, but I just can't quite remember what I liked about the old PC version (that came on 3.5” floppies). Maybe I have to play it to remember. Maybe It'll get some attention tomorrow.
