Woooooooot!

Looks like GameFly came through and is shipping Bioshock. There is a great amount of buzz about this game, I just hope it can live up to the expectations.

I also hope the game gets here before Thursday or I may have to call in 'sick'...

I've the fates attention now. Along with the rain and equipment issues that happened the other day (see previous blog), now the bike has a flat. I guess I rolled over something sharp or pointy along the route. Well, the bike has been needing some maintenance, cleaning and adjustments, so off to the shop it will go...

Along with the main bike, my much older bike will have to go into the shop. It'll get a mtb slick tire put on the rear and check both tubes and lube the workings. Make it into a light duty trainer/spare bike.

Feh! Took off on my ten mile bike ride and hit some rain. I was thinking it was just a passing shower and I can just continue. Except the rain kept coming down harder. Eventually I pulled into the covered courtyard of the city library and wrung out the clothes while waiting for the rain to stop.

Rain stopped and I resumed the ride. Not half a mile further the rain started up again. I pulled into a city park restroom and repeated the clothes wringing action while waiting for the rain to stop.

OK, I haven't been playing much (or any) xbox for quite awhile, but I've a good excuse...

I'm getting myself in shape, or at least trimming some of those BMIs I've allowed to multiply. I been exercising almost daily for the past three weeks and my muscles and body are starting to deal with the new situation.

I did it – I picked up Overlord today. The demo was absolutely hilarious, so I figured, what the hell, and went for it.

Well, Overlord is a great game. Hilarious and challenging, strange and seductive. I barely remember playing Dungeon Master on the PC, but Overlord appears to be cast from the same vein. I just hope that I can reset the game after it is played out, and/or that downloadable expansion packs are made available.
