Too old for this nonsense...

So I got pulled into some project work over my 'weekend.' Turns out to be over-night applications testing (when users won't be inconvenienced by the down time). First night was rough and nothing worked right so we wrapped up around 1am. Second night everything worked, but we had to make-up time so we finished at 4am! Tonight the caffeine turned into poison in my body. Heart palps and near syncope episodes. Gotta get out of these projects; the stress is a killer.

I'm a father!

I always thought it would be through a biological process, but ordainment is also good.

I am now an ordained minister with the The Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic (UCTAA). If you are not careful I may be forced to actively try to convert you. I take a bit of a dim view of proselytizing as Christians have gone barking mad with the idea. So I'll just leave it at the next paragraph unless someone wants more info (and doesn't want to visit the church website).

A belated introduction (of sorts)...

I think I've been a bit remiss with an introduction. I'll try to correct that now.

A little Q & A...

Ah, crap, the end of yet another weekend. Where did all the time go? What do I have to show for it? Is it better to play and lose or not play at all (thanks Devonsangel)...?

I finished the story-line of Chromehounds. Despite some issues, I guess I overall like the game. Not enough to buy it, even after going into the bargain-bin, but it was a good game for the mech-genre.

The grass is always greener...

Well, I now know my DSL line is fixed. This knowledge is based on the quality and variety of trouble today.
