Erica: the Gamer!

Eria can now play videogames.  You know, we played when we were... 8ish 10ish... we are going to see a crop of kids who have been gaming since they were in diapers. My man let Erica play a little ipod game: you touch the screen and fling penguins. Then you fling penguins at polar bears.  She's good.  Okay no: actually she really sucks...  she will have to do better if she wants to be a pro. (for the newbs: Erica is 2)

Not one of the Kewl Kids...

So... Erica has taken to excluding Mom from ... everything.  Butter Bear and Erica can be happy, but not Mom. Mom cannot get or give kisses, but everyone else can. And so on.  It's a phase, she's two so this is par for the course. But now I know how all those pimply Timmies feel.  I just want some love!

Haven't wrote anything of note in a while...

I remember when I was writing for Gamefocus, I wrote something of note once a week. I posted my articles in their entirety here in my blog, so I won't bore you with the details. I have been thinking of writing something for a buddy of mine on comics and how it's tough for the newb to break in, and even though I have the idea in my head: nothing has come to fruition. Looking at my sorry state of my own blog, recent lamenting the lack of gaming time among clan members, and this non existent aritcle has made me think.

Welcome to the Newbs in Da House!

Good Morning to all the the 2old2play newbs!  The GoW community playdate has made our little corner of the interwebs fairly popular; I just wanted to take a few minutes to give the newcomers a few pointers.

all the ladies in da HOUSE!

Going to try to get some of the ladies in the same room tonight.  I'll be hosting a COD4 room around 10PM EST... Hope to see ya'll on line.

On a funny (pathetic?) note: our ladies FoF tag got a random FR from some Timmy.  "Serio u r hot" ...  ummmm... okay?  So if you are new to 2old2play, you are a woman: visit the Ladies Playground and sign up.  No Boys Allowed! If you have any questions: shoot me a PM.

Having it all ways... (blogs)

I have always been facinated by the pull that women's blogs (mine included) seem to have. Do the women post more often? Are guys really that facinated with boobs? Am I really that interesting that somehow my dumb little blog about my homelife and the occasional blog about gaming deserves being in the top 15 blogs per month? Some blogs are consistently popular due to controversy, yet the authors seem to get upset when people give them the thumbs down.  But controversy is by it's nature, divisive. Division means that some people won't like what you have to say.
