My own wo derful 2old4 BS is currently recruiting.  Lux did a great job of crystalizing what 2old4BS is about: laid back, bit un-PC, but we don't like assholes either (we've had more than enough of our share),  But in a recruiting drive, it's always a gamble: pick a jerk, and you upset the chemistry of the group. Actually, it doesn't even have to be a jerk: just someone who doesn't fit in. It's a relationship. The clan member must click with the clan, and the clan must click with the member.

Not long ago (Wednesday night? Thursday night?) I played form Too human coop with a buddy of mine. Had a blast. It's  a fun little dungeon crawl and while the game is far from perfect it really has a pick up and play appeal. And carving your way through wave upon wave of enemy is good times.  Next day at work we got to talking about Mass Effect, and how ME2 is going to be shown in parts sometime in March. We just yapped about how much we loved the game, and how we played different constructs etc.  Same with Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

for some CoD action with 2o4BS and 2o2remember... fantastic times. I got pwned but that's not the point. I had such a blast with my boys! Great games. And again: without 2old2play (and 2o4BS) I wouldn't have ever picked up a FPS.

So... quite a while ago, I was approached by Majer Blundor. He was creating "2old2flank" a clan dedicated to tactical gaming. He asked me to hang out and write for the clan: get discussions going etc. I couldn't game too much with them: I could barely game enough with 2old4BS as it was.  Anyway: long story short: Majer turned out to be a total fuckwad, and abandonded his clan. Now we all get that Real Life sometimes takes over, and gaming must take a back seat. That is fine. But to take your own clan off your FL without a goodbye is wrong.  Anyway: 2old2flank is debating on shutting down.

I had a baby girl! My Erica is 2 today! w00t!  She got woken up by mommy and daddy and balloons. I wish all my days started like that. Erica now has Little People up to her ears.  She also got a bunch of play hats that are a big hit. One she calls a "Lizard Wizard" hat. But #1: 64 crayola crayons (and colouring books) form Grandma!  peeling crayons to "make a naked crayon" = good fun. 

So Happy Birthday to my baby girl and off to go play.
