Oh Gatsu.....  this one is for you! I hope you enoy!

CNN’s coverage of the zombie apocalypse droned in the background as Gatsu and Julie double checked their defensive preparations. “Shotguns, ammo, food, water... we missing anything?”.  Gatsu sighed in response. “It all just seems so...  I dunno.”  She cocked her head to one side, puzzled. Gatsu looked up with a sly, crooked, grin. “Just sayin’... I won’t eat your face, if you don’t eat mine.”

Okay: here it is. I have thrown down the gauntlet to Guardian and here is my writing challenge. A 75 word Halloween story. It has to be about a fellow 2old2play member, AND it can't be mean. Unless you are writing about someone in Clanarchy (j/k lads n lasses)  Here is mine:  It's obviously LuxDevil.  I was thinking about just writing a werewolf story and I got the idea about different types of were-creatures... and I thought of how difficult it would be to change into something where you had to change your habitat in a major way...

feeling better... not nearly as upset about work as I was on Friday. Now I just have to keep my head up, create my own opportunities.

We watched Iron Man last night. Sean bought me an early Christmas gift and got the the extended version. Problem? Our remote for the DVD played is busticated, and so you can't select anything. You can't move the cursor.... time for a new DVD player? (MAYBE blu-ray? which means maybe a PS3?) no. we won't be getting a PS3... no more gaming consoles. I don't have enough time to play what I got, not getting something else.

Job is so deadly dull, not looking for more $, just plain old job satisfaction. Still have lots of irons in fires, but the amount of energy it takes to keep generating your own luck really does take a toll on you. Combine that with the fact that some old buddies of mine aren't talking to me, because I choose to talk to people THEY don't approve of with the fact htat I gained back some of the weight I lost over the past month of being sick: and you have a JayCat who wants to just curl in a ball, cry and pretend today never happened.

Dam-age. What a shitty few weeks it's been.

I had fun... got my ASS handed to me. All that reminds me to do is practice more!  No really: I go 3 and 15-20ish. Lots of info about GoW2 out today, I can't wait to get this and CoDWaW. Yes some people (ahem.. Jeepie) hate it but... I'm easy to please. And if I can unleash the hounds then so be it!
