Well, after yesterday, I wasn't expecting much. Today I was 1 under through 17 and double bogeyed the last. This game me a Sunday total of a 71. To my amazement and some help to the golfers that scored better yesterday. I won the Member's Scratch Golf Tournament by 2 strokes. So I got a big trophy and $110 for my efforts. Now I can get back into my gaming again. I was hoping to participate in the handicapp portion but I haven't enetered enough scores to get a handicapp.

Well I turned up the suck today. We are playing golf in 25 mph winds today and that didn't help. Pretty much had bad luck all day. Not a good way to start the members tournament. Pretty much insured that I won't be going after the championship this year. I was dumb enough to hit the ball on a check swing and it went 2 feet. Things like that all day long. Sure glad I have been practicing. Oh well. I'm hoping to redeem myself tomorrow.

Won't be around much this weekend. My sister is in town and I also have the Member's Golf Tournament here on Saturday and Sunday. It has been about 3-4 years since I played in it and I'm hoping to recapture the title. I haven't been playing my best but a good bounce her or there would help. Wish me luck.

Since last blog, I have already mentioned going to the LAN next year to the wife and it wasn't well received at all. I'm glad I'm starting a year in advance to wear her down. I'm going to pull some major strings to pull this one off.

After reading and hearing the fun times at the Chicago LAN, I'll start working on the wife for next year. I'm sure I can negotiate some deal. So HOPEFULLY next year, I'll get to meet people in person.
