Zero Emission and Style!

Okay, this is a Zero emission concept vehicle I could really get into (assuming of course that I could afford it).  The Morgan LifeCar is a concept car due to be launched at the Geneva Show in March 2008.  The LifeCar’s purpose is to demonstrate that a zero emission vehicle can also be fun to drive.

Railguns: Not just for games anymore!

Until recently Magnetic Railguns were only available to players of games such as QUAKE 4; but not anymore!  The United States Navy just tested its new railgun, and this 10 megajoule weapon may be the future of death-delivery systems.  Rather than using gunpowder like most guns, this thing powers projectiles via magnetic waves, allowing you to launch stuff at enormous speeds over great distances and with extraordinary accuracy (or so they claim).

Personal Jet Pack Anyone?

I’ve dreamed of getting one of these ever since I saw one used on Lost in Space when I was a kid.  And just thin, I could own one this summer for only a 100 grand!  Sure it only goes for seventy-five seconds on a tank of gas, um I mean fuel, but I bet it would be a heck of a minute and fifteen seconds! The Thunderpack model TP-R2G2, created by Thunderbolt Aerosystems

W00t!

I got Call of Duty 4 today!  Played the first two "tutorial" sessions and loved them. But, during the first "real" mission all the feelings I had while playing CoD2 and CoD3 came rushing back (only supported by better graphics)!  I’m looking forward to playing this game!   One tail-waggin happy wolf here :)

Cool Factor Alert!

Okay, this gets marks just for the “cool factor” alone.  At first sight I thought the lack of the usual number of ports (this has only one USB) was a real drawback; but it does come with 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0 built in so it’s not as big a deal as I suspected.

You can check it out it out here.
