Arkum

Well I got my copy of Arkum Asylum yesterday. I ended up playing it till 230am :). I knew this thing got pretty good scores but all I can say is WOW. I did not expect this from Rocksteady or an Eidos published title. IGN called this the best super hero game of all time and I agree fully with that statement. The atmosphere in this game is very similar to Bioshock but I think its actually better. You have the joker in your head constantly because once he takes over the island he is poping up on tvs and working the PA system.

MadCatz can suck it

So MadCatz is in charge of bringing out a ton of Modern Warfare 2 gear this fall. I was actually looking forward to them cause I was thinking they would bring out a better FPS controller for the PS3 than the Dualshock. Well suprise suprise they both mimic the controllers from the 360 and PS3. Now though the 360 only comes wired and the ps3 is wireless but oh they left out the rumble. Good Job MadCatz...........

Air Mcnair and the finish of Wolverine

I can't believe the number of celebrity/famous people that have died recently. I just read that Steve Mcnair was shot yesterday and killed, he was 36. I remember tuning into espn2 and watching him play for Alcorn State while he rolled up almost 500 yards passing a game. Just crazy , but on a lighter note:

Cloud Connected

A couple of months back at the game developers conference they rolled out this service called OnLive. Its basically a cloud computing service for running video games. I pretty much laughed at that idea then. After seeing a preview of a service called GaiKai today, color me impressed. It's very hard or me to imagine something like this though. The thought of not having a console or high end pc, but being able to play just about anything at its highest standards blows my mind. Here is the link.
