2008 Lan Pics...Oh yeah, the first Step to Awesome Town.

For some reason the P & W group has given me permission to blog (LOL fools!!!) in the P&W Blog. So I wanted to share some pics and a little bit of my insight to the 2o2p LAN.

I know the economy is getting fisted right now, and money is tight. I can only think of one other type of circumstance that would prevent you from going to the LAN and that is a family sickness or situation. Other then that, WTF people, what are you waiting for? Buy your LAN ticket, book your Hotel/Flight/Car/Truck/llama reservations, and start the countdown to Awesome Town!!!

You maybe be saying "but LB you are a Hawt and Sexy beast (Yes...yes I am), so it is easy for you to go to these things." Well truth be told, for my first LAN I was a little freaked out. If you have not seen a pic of me (and how can you not have, I am the Hawtness. Plus there are pics of me in my Gladiator stuff), then let me describe myself. I am over 300 lbs, have man boobs (and they are spectacular), and create my own gravity. So I was a little worried about meeting "the stereotypical" gamer persona. Well guess what...Nobody fucking cared. I kind of just hung out for the first hour, hanging back seeing how things were going to play out. Well I was approached by people wanting to know who I was and they did not run away puking...I got hugs, hand shakes, and beers!!! From then on all was good.

You might even be saying that you can only take one vacation this summer with the family or the significant other. Dude...the LAN is in Chicago!! Food, museums, Navy Pier, bars and a shit ton of great sight seeing is to be had. You come in on the Monday before the LAN, take the family out to the museums and sight seeing up until Friday or Saturday. Then it is Adult drunken gaming time. Blam!!! It is a two-fer. Or if you just have a significant other, come in early in the week, do some sightseeing, and give them a great rogering and curl their toes while they are face down in the pillow (Pillow bitter!!! FTW). Then when Saturday rolls around (and if for some reason they do not want to go with you) send he/she/it off to the Spa, Ball Park, or what every they like to do by themselves.

I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Worst case scenario you get to game for a couple of days with no LAG from XBL.

Well as promised below are some pics from the 2008 LAN. I hope you can make it and since the powers that be will realize the horrific error they made in giving me access to this blog, this will probably be my last "P&W" blog. Well I hope not.. :)
