Gaming on the Weekend: What are your typical plans?

So it's Friday! The best day of the week! Now, if you know me (JayCat) then you know that Fridays are my date night with the man. My husband and I share a bottle of wine, get take out and just sit and talk. Rejuvenation for a happy relationship. The few times when he is either sick or has something else to do, then Friday nights become:

2old4BS Shot Night!

Drunken hilarity with mah guys and gals of 2o4BS! There are usually pictures involved. Sometimes people shave their heads. The rules of the game are as follows: Whenever you fall under Lee (Kermitsastoner) in ranking you have to take a drink. Therefore gang up on Lee. And shoot the Blue Guy (LuxDraconis) it's not actually a rule, it's just fun. What actually happens? People drink, take stupid pics of themselves with the visioncam and we laugh all night.

Before kids, Sundays were my day to realy do some serious gaming. The man would watch football all day and I would game. Match made in heaven. Now, Sundays are Mommy, Daughter day, but I sneak my Sunday gaming in when she is napping. Same on Caturday.

What are your weekend gaming rituals? Does your clan have any standing weekend games?

I drink a redbull vodka before i start playing, and before i play any game i rock out a couple songs in gh3 then move on to whatever else.\r \r and why does the avatar looked resized. damn ittttttttttttt. i see today is going to be a very busy day

Friday is usually beer and game night for me. I’ve been seeing the wrong side of 3am too frequently for my progeny to continue to awaken at 7. Mrs. Snuphy usually reads or heckles. “you really suck tonight snuphy” or “how the hell did you not see that guy” or “why don’t you run thru that door a 5th time? I bet that guy is still there to kill you again” or “wow how did you get to the top of the leader board? You still sober?”.\r \r Sat night is unscripted. Sometimes play. Sometimes not.\r \r Sun is family night. I usually cook something decent, we play board games with the kids, and my wife and I play cribbage and catch up on marital bliss.\r

2old2play MTGO has an informal double elimination tourney every Sunday at noon eastern time. That is so we can include the Europeans in the clan. And the west coast. Whoever wins gets to choose the format for the next Sunday. Can get kinda crazy.

@Venom: I slipped off topic a bit. I failed to mention my Friday nights are clan affairs. I rarely play alone any more if I don’t want to. A year ago, before I discovered 2o2p, I virtually always played alone. I’m have much more fun now, and look forward to Friday nights almost as much as my Sunday nights. 2o2p has become part of my weekend, as it seems to be with J-Cat. I think that’s discussion worthy for the P&W.

Play, Play, Play!!!! Sundays are tough cause I usually get started on Thursdays staying up late and by Sunday I'm dog tired.
