Yes, I know, I seem to talk obsessively about Portal 2, but it just so damn good. I finally finished up the Co-op portion and have a few more Co-op achievements to pick up. Big thanks to Tank for helping me out with the co-op and the achievements. I will limit the Portal talk to only a few sentences, but right now (especially with Mass Effect 3 being delayed) it going to be hard beat for game of the year. In fact it is easily the best gaming experience I have had since Call of Duty 4. Just simply amazing.
Gaming has evolved so much over the past five years that defining who is a gamer has become more difficult. In fact I’m sure there are many gamers who don’t even know they are gamers. The industry has expanded so much and made its way into many aspects of our culture that is would be very hard to avoid gaming. Gaming is all around us and the sooner we realize that most of us are gamers in one way or another then we can find comfort in gaming.
I keep thinking about Xbox live Gold and I wonder…”what am I paying for”
Playstation Network offers pretty much the same services, but they are free so what am I paying for (You could say I’m paying for security with the recent failure of PSN, but countless individual live accounts have been hacked)
It seems like I’m paying for a lot of things that Microsoft doesn’t provide.
