Day 28 and Power Twins United

As far as the countdown goes... last night involved two things.  1) More DVD conversion for the Zune.  That is turning out to be a tedious little project. 2) The wifey and I go to the park pretty much every day to walk.  Something we need to do anyway.  But, also in preparation for all the walking we will have to do.  So we got to the park earlier than normal yesterday and the wifey says, "Let's just see how far we can walk."  Um, OK.  So away we go.  We literally walked until it was too dark to continue.  The results?  7 miles.  Crap!  The middle two miles were jogged and we both felt like we could have done more.  I was so proud of us.

Not much else going on.  Next week starts the real whirlwind of actually getting stuff packed and getting all the money in the right places and printing out everything, etc.  I'd just as soon skip that part and just magically wake up in Paris.

For those of you that have not experienced it before, I highly recommend a night (or at least a few matches) of playing CoD4 with JeepChick and Ms Bishop.  Especially if they have been drinking.  Unfortunately I only got to witness 3 or 4 matches with this mighty combination last night.  I learned so many fascinating facts which also included vivid and lifelike complimentary sound effects to make the story telling that much more realistic.  A special thanks to Soup for either a) inadvertently or b) very covertly encouraging the spectacle that played out over Live.  It was great fun.  And a little scary.
