Well this is it...

Vacation time is finally almost here.  The wifey and I spent the evening making sure we had everything packed up and all the important documents, etc. all together.  I am finally feeling excited about the trip.  Up to this point it has been as stressful as it has been exciting.  So much going on at work.  So much to get done before we leave.  We are finally packed and ready to go.  It finally feels real.

I have very much gotten to my "screw it" point.  A few things I have to get done this morning.  A meeting at 1:00 in town.  Then I'm just calling it quits for the day.  Tomorrow?  Staff meeting in the morning in which I am going to preach to and generally berate some of my staff, and then that's it.  Vacation time.  When staff meeting ends I am walking out the door.  Turning my work phone off and driving off.  If somebody needs something, that's just too bad.  My secretary has my personal cell phone number.  But, I told her that if she calls me while I am on vacation it better be an absolutely dire emergency, and there better be something I can do about it from 6 time zones away.  I'm pretty sure I scared her enough that I won't be getting a call.

I'm not one to cuss.  I find no real use for the words.  I also know that there are folks out there that are terribly offended by those certain words.  So I just don't say them.  No big whoop.  I don't really care if you use them or not.  Doesn't bother me.  Just my choice not to use them.  But tomorrow it is going to be very difficult for me to not scream at the top of my lungs at every single employee here "LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE FOR THE NEXT 17 DAYS!!!"  Wow.  It really felt good to just type that.  Gonna be even harder now to not say it.

I may or may not be around here for the rest of today or for a bit tomorrow.  I may be able to sneak a little time in on Live today or tomorrow as well.  If not, be good people and be sure to destroy the Timmie uprising.  I'll see ya'll in a couple of weeks with plenty of pictures in tow.
