My wife's game plan

My wife informed me of the "game plan" for watching the Bama vs LSU game tomorrow night.  To be honest, all I heard after "game plan" was "blah, blah, blah".  The fact my wife has a game plan for watching a game is just flabbergasting.  She's always proclaimed to be a Bama fan but never had any interest in watching a game until our son played 5 years of high school football.  Before you draw any dumb southerner conclusions, he played JV and varsity one year.  Now she's calling the refs names, calling out players for bonehead plays, even suggesting plays to Nick Saban.  And she's a little loud about it too, you'd think she had money on the game.  It's actually a little cool, but I'm an Auburn fan so I find her particular fandom annoying since Auburn is not doing so well this year.  And while she can crow about Bama this year, I was not allowed to brag about the 24 point comeback last year in the Iron Bowl.  Different standards.

You know, I think at times I could be called an SEC elitist.  One of those people that think their college football conference is better than everybody else's and doesn't believe Boise State, Houston, or any other small school should be allowed a shot at the BSC championship over a one loss LSU or Bama.  Well, if you called me that, you'd be right. Boise just added on to their stadium for a whopping total of 64000 fans.  Neyland Stadium holds 106000.  Saturday night you'll see at least 20 players that will be playing on Sunday in the coming years. If you just drafted from the SEC, you could field a playoff NFL team.  My conference has seperated itself from the rest of the country as far as quality of football.  And cheating, which as any NASCAR fan will tell you, "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'".
