To be fair, we finally played a team that didn't sit in one place all the time (notice I didn't use the c word). I was so surprised I didn't know how to act. The second TDM we won with Kevtek and Sub T chanting "embrace the camp". That goes against everything I stand for. I have sucked at every match we've played and had moments where if I had plenty of money to buy a new TV I would have chucked the controller right through the damn thing. One time I even called the dog so I could have something to beat on (not really, she's only 7 pounds so I wouldn't have been able to take out much frustration on her). Without bragging, I'm good enough against Timmy but suck against an organized team.
Like the new maps, and don't even mind you can't pick the gametype on them yet. The group of people I normally play with only play TDM. It's fun to mix things up except for search and destroy. I will never ever like that gametype and sabotage is an exercise in frustration. Would have like to have seen creek, imagine that map with a silenced uzi, marathon, and lightweight. At least it wasn't Chinatown.
Ever notice how certain people do really well in certain games? My friend Lusetti is one of the coolest guys around, and really excels at BF:BC. He's like a general organizing people, and when he goes to the west wing of his house to pee (some say west wing, I say the woods outside) we lose a round. I keep telling him to get a tube and a flask (a la the Bert Reynolds / Kris Kristofferson movie) but he insists on leaving the game to relieve himself.
That's it, randomness organized
