Shared on Thu, 12/02/2010 - 15:11I started with World of Warcraft when it first launched. It consumed me. It got around to feeling like work. I'd wake up in the middle of the night to check auctions, and just generally had this "blah" feeling about it. So, I dropped it like it's hot for a couple of years. Last year, I went back to it briefly, just to kind of check things out, but once it became "work-like", I stopped again (at around level 23). With Cataclysm, it sounded like things are new again, so I decided to roll another character and give it a try. I'm having fun with it, and it hasn't yet consumed me, so I'm still plugging along. After, what seems like a short amount of time, I've leveled up to 17 with my undead warrior. It's been fun, the storyline is interesting. I'm hoping I can continue on, just giving a few hours per week, without getting too crazy about it. It really does feel like it's been revitalized. Blizzard, no doubt, knows their shit when maintaining an MMO.
Good stuff.
