College ball is a rollercoaster

API is the BCS #1.  Interesting.  I still think they have a loss or two in them.  Same with Oregon.  Can't really argue with the BCS standings though.  While it makes me cringe to see Auburn and their little brother syndrome in #1, given who they've played, I do think they've shown more on the field than has Oregon.

I am on board with Cam Newton leading the Heisman talk.  He's very, very good, even if his heart is still in Gainesville.

Bama looked okay, but still not where I want to see them.  I think the second half performance had more to do with Tennessee's limited depth than it did with Alabama's adjustments.  So, while the second half was encouraging, I don't really think it means that we're world beaters once again.  I really can't wait for that LSU game.

LSU in Baton Rouge in 2 weeks?  I don't know what to make of this.  LSU has seemed flat and uninspired all season.  I may be way off base, but they don't seem fired up and ornery like usual.

The East is still wide open, and with UGA playing better, it could get interesting.

Finally finished up my work yesterday at about 1:30pm.  Took to playing some BFBC2, and I'm fairly happy with it.  I went ahead and bought onslaught mode since it's 50% off.  Maybe my interest in the game will continue and I can hit that up.

Big media week - Fable 3, Rock Band 3, Force Unleashed 2, some other game I'll probably get - as discussed, maybe SVR 11.  Also on the Blu-Ray front, we have Back to the Future and Star Wars Clone Wars season 2 hitting this week.  Remember the Best Buy B2G1 sale this week.  It's applicable to a lot of new and recent releases.

LSU may be uninspired but playing in Tiger stadium makes LSU a whole different animal. The only way Bama has a chance is if they keep it a very low scoring game.
