It's the Story...

A few weeks ago, Best Buy had a sale on the Brady Bunch complete series dvd set.  It was, I recall, around $60.  I ordered it online, as it wasn't available in store, and got a message saying it was backordered.  Eventually, they canceled it as it could not be secured in a reasonable amount of time.  Much to my surprise, when I was at Best Buy on Sunday, they had the physical copy (Green shag and all) in stock in the store for like $75.  I decided to buy it.  Best brick & mortar deal I've ever seen was $108, so $75 seemed great.  I had some gift cards so that, a game (maybe dead space 3?) and some other blu ray came in pretty cheap.  Very strange - for some reason, the enter key isn't working on my surface.  Problem with the site and IE?   Anyway, this limits what I wanted to do with this blog post.  Oh well, here goes, wall of text, Brady Style.  I haven't seen the Brady Bunch in probably a good 8-10 years.  However, I could remember most of each episode.  I think it scared my lady.  I don't get it, who CAN'T recite "seven silver swans swam silently seaward" or "baby talk baby talk, it's a wonder you can walk" or know the exact amount of money in the wallet found in the vacant lot or that the smell of smoke was probably the Ditmeyer's barbecue?  Anyway, I think I made an important discovery - the iconic chalkboard in the Brady kitchen first made it's appearance in Treasure of Sierra Avenue - the episode where the boys found the aforementioned wallet (with $1100 in it).  However, in subsequent episodes, it is not present.  It is my intention to document when it becomes a permanent fixture.  Ah good times.  Now, this is where I'd go into some detail on the Surface (I dig it), or lament my lack of free time to play games (just bought some), or discuss my initial thoughts around the PS4 (cautiously optimistic, but I don't think it's really bringing the WOW).  Oh well, maybe some other time when I have a functional enter key or come in on another browser.
