Random game thoughts

WoW Cataclysm drops today.  I also preordered Tron: Evolution on a whim - hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.  Don't know if I'll get much time for either tonight - but it may be fun to roll a worgen and a goblin.

I have to fly out to Phoenix tomorrow for a meeting, and am looking forward to some warm weather - it's been cold as a witch's tit in Atlanta lately, and I also do not look forward to the trip up to Massachusetts for X-Mas.  Alas, I'll only be in Arizona for 24 hours or so, and then back to the tundra of the ATL.

I've had a wild hair to get back into Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 lately.  I played a bit last night, and it was decidely 'meh'.  I think it's a capable enough game, just some camera problems and a general lack of strategy involved.  That reminds me, I need to download the Marvel Pinball FX2 tables this week.

I'm kind of digging this Tomb Raider reboot.  While I've enjoyed the post "Angel of Darkness" games, they've been rather bland affairs.  Anyway, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for progress on this one.

Was checking some early releases for 2011.  Two Worlds 2 looks interesting, but once bitten, twice shy and all that.  Will Venetica be a nice suprise out of nowhere, or another half assed Euro RPG like Risen or that Divinity tripe?  Dead Space 2 should bring the goods.  I'm sure more will catch my eye as time goes on, but that's what I'm seeing in the first 2 months of the year.
