Is achievement whoring wrong?

Im currently working on Battlefield 2 MC and i wondered what were the thoughts on me hooking up with other friends to whore some achievements?

What i mean by this is like the Medal you  get by killing 4 people with your knife in a game.  Just hook up with a fellow friend and join oposite teams, join chat and find each other in a secluded spot (already sounds shady) and choose who goes first.  You can then get the achievement!  This can be don with  expert sniper medal where you could just rush the chosen sniper and let him pwn you till he gets  the 10 kills without dying.  The list goes on, but is this wrong.  Would someone then look at me achievements and say that i cheated?

I like the achievement system as it makes you play far more than you would normally and also sometimes more tactically.  I have a bit of a Pokemon attitude to them and want to catch them all but would i be cheating myself by doing it this way?

Plz help me in this dilema, i dont want to end up like the guy sat next to the healing box rocketing himself.

I thnk its ok myself as some of the achievements in these games are just tedious. Me and a player who shall remain unnamed have done this for a couple of games but we tend to get fed up with it lol so go back to killing each other or racing eachother properly. Dont see a problem though with helping your friends out if they need it :)

Personally I think you would be cheating yourself out of the achievements and the skill to get that achievement. That is probably why I havent got a good score. I just dont play the single player as much to do it. That said, Ill meet you online and get this thing nailed properly. ; ) To be honest as long as youre not cheating oters then it doesnt really matter as its only you that you have to answer to.

I think you may screw yourself a little bit too. When it searches for ranked games it will be putting you with other people who have the medals. You may find that you arent up to par.

After PDZ I learned achievement score is crap. I earned more achievement score in 10 minutes playing multiplayer than beating the game on secret agent mode. Thats just wrong. So now I dont care about the score, I just care about getting the achievement.

If youre just playing the game for the achievement points, then do what it takes to get them as fast as possible. Then move on to the next game. I rented Burnout so had it for a limited amount of time. I got through some of the 1p stuff and got some unlocks. T hen i hooked up with a friend and we worked together to unlock some of the lower end MP achievements. Then I sent the game back. I probably will never play it again so i dont care if i did a little coop achievement unlocking. If the game is actually one you want to get into and play for a while, then you should get the achievements with blood, sweat and tears.
