The Forge.

Well I have officially become really excited about Halo 3. The first piece of news that made me smile was that the “Movie Making” feature would be available in single as well as multi-player.

Now the newest piece of information that has really got me excited is the “Forge”. According to the always reliable internet forums the “Forge” is a sort of Garry’s Mod for Halo 3. Imagine being able to go into a multiplayer map via the Forge interface and creating your own player, vehicle and weapons spawns. Make forts out of boxes and fusion cores. Then immediately go into the level and interact with the objects. Apparently you can even do this with a room full of people and interact with each other, some in “Forge” mode while others are on the map as players. This “Forge” mode would of course be separate from the regular multiplayer modes. I am sure more details will emerge as we get closer to September 25. And please remember that this info is suspect.

After some  digging It looks like the Forge is real, but no online Co-op...Atleast right away. Maybe as a future download.
