Call me contrary but I have always felt that Halo’s strongest point was its solo campaign. I am not one of those it’s gotta have multiplayer or I am not interested guys. Co-op is a desirable trait, but online multiplayer not so much. I do like to go online and get some deathmatch in now and then but it’s not the driving force in my daily gaming addiction. That’s why with the La Boite Orange the TF2 part I may never see. Truth be told, I am only interested in Portal and Episode 2. Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 are nice additions to the package but TF2 is not the driving force in my purchase of the La Boite Orange.

Bioware has been purchased by EA. Hmmm I am not a fan of EA as a company. I like some of there games though. So does this mean that I will have to listen to some crappy obnoxious EA Trax style music with DJ commentary while I play Mass Effect?

Thanks for the insight Poonga. Playing through the games episodes in order.. Hmm radical thinking indeed. =P

One thing I have to say is EA hasnt been doing so bad lately some good games and made some great choices for gamers.. I was at first shocked at the sale of Bioware/Pandemic but I actually think it wont really effect anything. And I do not think ME will go to PS3 until the trilogy is complete unless they farm it out which is doubtful because Bioware has been protective of the ME IP. ME has been built from the ground up for the 360, 100 percent. It would take too much time to do an internal port to the PS3 and really, with such a low install base, why bother

It’s ok. I have played the series through many times. I am more concerned about your "all run and gun game suck" comment. Or at least that’s what I can gather. I see you like GRAW and R6V. Lots of running and gunning there...?

If you haven't played HL@ and ep1 play those first before playing ep2. It's episodic content, you should know the story before doing ep 2. I think Halo 3's solo campaign sucked. It's no different than Quake 4 or any other run and gun. You just walk around and shoot enemies. I still don't know what the entire story is even having played through on co-op many times. The nice thing about HL2's episodes is they start the game by recapping what happened in the last episode. I wish Halo 3 did that as I never played Halo 1 or 2. That's probably why I don't recall anything about the story as I don't know what the purpose of me being there is.
