If you're reading this you've probably slipped through a blackhole in the interweb and accidentally landed here as I don't think anyone will actually read this! I picked up Heavenly Sword recently for my PS3 and am loving it. Very cinematic presentation. I've heard that it's a short game but I really don't have time to play games that take 20+ hours to finish like I did in college and high school. My time is so busy now with work and family that I value quality over quantity. I'll take a very good 8 hr game vs a mediocre 20 hr game. So I'm not on the Halo 3 bus because, shocker, I don't own a 360. I've thought about it but that whole red ring of death thing just scares the crap outta me. To have to send a console away for repair just irks me, especially when MS has to know what's causing the issues but hasn't fixed it yet. Oh well, if they ever get all their hardware issues worked out I might consider buying one. I had a Nintendo Wii for awhile but sold it this past spring. Don't get me wrong it was a lot of fun but after a while Wii Sports got boring and the other games just weren't challenging/engrossing enough for me. I can see the Wii appealing to the casual gamer who doesn't care that much about graphics or engrossing story lines but it's just not for me although I do think it's a good console.
I just bought an iPod touch recently. I think it's the shit. Exactly what I had been waiting for. The iTunes wireless store is much better than I anticipated and I've used it several times already to buy songs. Watching TV shows, moves and music videos is actually fun now. I downloaded the awesome "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode of Southpark and love watching it on the iPod touch. We will be vacationing over in Europe this fall and I'm looking forward to having the iPod touch on the flights, along with my DS and PSP. Speaking of the PSP I rarely play it anymore. I'm not sure why, maybe lack of time, maybe lack of AAA titles. I'm thinking about selling it soon. There just isn't enough time to play every system anymore like there was "back in the day". I remember playing the old Nintendo 8-bit system for hours and hours during the summer while growing up. Double Dribble and Tecmo Bowl were always favorites and those old Zelda games rocked also. Ahhh those were the days, being a kid with no responsibilities and the only worry was how I was going to beat the next level of a game.
