The trip!

So I'm in the beginning stages of planning a motorcycle trip.  Where do I go?  I'm planning on 5-7 days.  Prob less than 3000 miles.  Motorcycle has a range of about 220 safe miles per tank.  Could probably stretch it out to 250 if I needed to. 

I think I've narrowed it down to Chicago or Atlanta.  Been to both places, never via motorcycle.  So that'll be new for this trip.

Oklahoma City to Chicago is 790 miles according to google maps.  I've been to both oceans, the gulf of mexico, but never to the great lakes.  I'd like to at least take a boat ride there.  Could stop at the big Bass Pro in Springfield on the way by.  Having limited capacity would limit my shopping, which would be a plus.  Aurora Illinois is also there, I can go hunt for Wayne and Garth.  Maybe have a street race with the Murfmobile.

Oklahoma City to Atlanta is 846 miles according to google maps.  Been there multiple times.  Lastly to see meet JollyRoger and his family.  We hung out, had a good time, etc. 

I've already eliminated all destinations out west as being too far.  I travel out that way quite a bit. 

Any suggestions on roadside attractions between Oklahoma City and either destination?  Biggest frying pan? Biggest ball of twine?  I'll stop and look at anything I think.
