It's almost time for Extra Life!

First of all, I want to thank everybody who supported our team when I originally posted my July blog. We are now just a couple of weeks away from Extra Life! As you can see here, I have purchased enough energy shots to kill a lambent leviathan to make sure that I make it the whole 24 hours.

Right now we are 46% of the way to our goal of raising $2000 to support our local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and we could still use your help, whether it be in the form of donations or your participation. Come on, you want an excuse to play Gears 3 for 24 hours straight anyway, right? Why not join us and help benefit kids? Our team is made up of folks you might even already know from ClaNarchy and The Groundbaggers, so it'll be like a 2o2p match anyway.

I am extremely passionate about this cause since, as some of you know, my daughter received a life-saving heart operation last December from our local CMN hospital. I simply can't say enough about the care she received there and I will be forever grateful for them giving us back our little girl. If you want evidence of how good they are, take a look at this video. This was shot FIVE DAYS after her chest had been opened, her sternum craked and her heart repaired. It is just fracking amazing that she is at home, smiling and singing after all that happened, and after such a short time. Her twin sister is on percussion here.
