Another Christmas down….

 

Then to my Uncle’s massive late night Christmas Eve party, and my Aunt was NOT drunk to the point that she tried to sit on my lap, pinch my ass, or any of the other non-blood related aunt’s sexual innuendo that often goes with her drinking, so that was a win, though my Uncle (my dad’s brother, and husband to the previously mentioned aunt) did make a significantly uncomfortable pass at my wife with the statement “You know I'm one to go ALLLLLLLL night, one night with me and you’d be chucking rocks at your husband”. Wow, thanks, Uncle Creeper, that’s not a creepy thing to say when I am standing right beside her or anything.

 

Then X-mas Day, too early for the amount that we all drank the previous night. My parents gave us cash (win #2) and a new Low profile laser sight for my PT24/7 as well as some other items to help finish off our bar/billiards room.

 

Breakfast at my Grandmother’s house, and my cousin says she has a major gift to all of us……and she holds up 9 fingers…..so, apparently she thinks that popping out another kid before her current youngest reaches his first birthday is a gift to us....the room got silent except for a few groans, and whispers about I though 8 kids would be enough, and how she said her goal was to have 12 before she was 40, and wondering what her husband though about it.... then she she pushed a very poor topic.....she openly states that she liked the name my sister mentioned once on facebook as a potential name for her hopefully future daughter, and thus will be using that name if it is a girl…..This was something I thought was below her (I guess not), especially since she knows my sister has been trying (unsuccessfully) to have a kid for several years now….what a total bitch. Now I don't get allong with my sister very well, but after her third failed invetro, I know better than to even whisper anything about it.....my cousin on the other hand just doesnt' care.....seriously,.....what a MASSIVE BITCH!

 

Skip ahead a bit.

 

X-mas day- evening, back at my parents house where we drank and played board games until very, very late when everyone got tired of me winning at Bananagrams, and we all split off. (haha, get it? Split?.....)

 

Sunday was a day of kicking back and relaxing. Though I finally did something I have been intending to do for a while, I deactivated my Facebook account. Why you ask? Because I don’t see any value in it, and my parents and sister had started scanning a large number of old photos and posting them all to Facebook. I got tired of having my phone buzz every 20 seconds, and then ever 5 seconds as their thousands of friends commented 10-20 times per picture…..so good bye Facebook, I hardly used you and felt you were a total waste of my phone’s bandwidth…and yet when I listed the reason why I was leaving as “I don’t see any purpose to it” it responded by suggesting that I sign in 3-4 times a day….wtf?

 

Anyway, now that Christmas is over, we can move on to an important holiday…..New Years!
