Comcast </3

After a thoroughly annoying call to Comcast, I decided to take care of some things around the house.  Between the expected hiccups with D3 and Comcast failing me (yet again), I haven't been able to play as much as I have wanted, but that's life sometimes, yeah?  I decided a couple of years ago, that with netflix, youtube, and gaming, I really didn't need to have a TV.  My internet provides all of the entertainment I need, but when it's down, I end up being 3 kinds of pissed about it.  lol

So after I finished  my stuff, I settled down to find 'something' to do.  I do have Skyrim, but for some reason it will only load up when I have an internet connection?  (Don't know what THAT is all about).  So, the only game I have to play offline is Dragon Age 2.  I had it on the back burner for a good while because I was dying horribly to a dragon.  Secretly I think Aveline doesn't tank as well because she is not happy that I have a thing going with Anders :P Every time we go somewhere, she's always chatting it up with him.   Anywhos, since this was going to be my only form of entertainment last night, I loaded a previous save so I could build up the characters a bit more and then kick some dragon ass.

Skipping to the end of this little story, I never got back to that dragon, BUT I did have fun and I did stay up too late.  lol

It's the little things in life :)

Oh... and it's FRIDAY!  Woot

Still have to work Saturday, but Friday is and always will be Friday :D

Aveline is just a terrible NPC.

I can't trust anyone who works for the guard AND goes out to do things with Hawke that may or may not be on the up n up ;)

Seriously though, if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Varric.

On my first playthrough I teamed up well with the Dalish Elf whilst I was a Warrior.

On my second playthrough I played a Rouge and I encountered Bella, another Rogue, that I somehow missed on the first playthrough. The combination of 2 melee rouges were brutally powerful. It fit my playstyle much better. Despite Bella not being my most favorite NPC personality wise, she is probably the best all around NPC for me to team with in terms of force of arms...

Varic has crazy stories. The make me crack a smile.

I really steered away from Bella. Like you, I think she has a less-than-likable personality than the rest.   I lost her for a while through the storyline, and then she poppsed back up.  So I've been running with 3 ranged and 1 melee, which in hindsight is probably not the best idea.  I seem to be going well, and then I hit such a hard snag with a boss, that I just leave the game alone for a while until I figure out what I need to do to beat it.
