Everyone wants gold, right?

My blue staff is killing me... I want the better one, I really do!  I've been running Terrance of Endless Spring (ToES) and even went as far as using 4 of my coveted elder charms.  What was my reward?  Gold.  Every.single.time.  Something stinks in Denmark.  Oh I know.. RNG is RNG.. but come on.  Really?  So 5.2 drops next week (I hope).  Yay more dailies.

Over the last couple of days, I was reunited with a friend that I had last contact with long, long ago.  This is truly about the only time that I can thank FB.  Long before dsl, long before cable, when a 33k modem was the shit, I met Rob and his wife Debbie.  There were others in our group, but I don't think I will ever find them again.  We had such great fun in IRC and as I think about those days, so long ago, I smile.  In the infancy of the internet, things were so much fun.  We weren't bombarded with ads.  Cam girls were just coming on line, and no... these were young ladies were NOT out to make money.  It was just something fun to do to connect with an unimaginably big world.  How do I know?  Yeah, I did that.  I had a cam, and it was fun. I paid $149.00 for a black and white cam and used White Pine software....  I can't believe I still remember that!  I wonder... how in the hell was that even workable using a 33k modem?  lol. 

It will be 8 am soon, time to start my day at work.  Come on Friday!
