Still hate Comcast, but it's fixed.

Was a long weekend here in my part of the world.  Long as in not a good thing.  In retrospect, I 'suppose' I shouldn't get ALL of my entertainment from the net, but hell, there are infinite resources (if you know where to look), Netflix for any tv shows I might be interested in (hello Vampire Diaries), music of all kinds (more Pandora please ) and the big kahuna of  them all... games, games, and more games.  Talk about run-on sentences, huh?  So I gritted my teeth, dealt with it as best as I could and finally got online yesterday afternoon.  To be fair, it wasn't Comcast's fault this time (some idiot cut my cable, assholes), but I will still stand by the fact that their customer service stinks.  I'm being polite about it now, the words were much harsher over the weekend.

I was about ready to pull my hair out Sunday afternoon though.  I willing do some house projects on the weekends, but holy cow, not every friggin' moment!  So as you can imagine, I needed a gaming fix and Dragon Age 2 wasn't cutting it.  Soooo...  this is where my next addiction comes into play:

I've not played the first one, but oh my damn, this game knocked me off my feet so far.  Not just a hack n slash, but story depth, and intricate enough that a person needs to take actual time to craft things.  I played it until my cable was back on, but I can tell, this is going to be my go-to when I need a break from Diablo (don't know if THAT will happen though :D) and i am already giving WoW a rest for the most part, until MoP comes out.  (Although, I am farming a little to build up my gold).

*cough* Speaking of Diablo :P .. losing a couple of days and everyone is miles ahead.  That's not too bad though... I've taken to completely explore the maps and there's been a time or 2 that discovering that last dark area yielded something pretty good (the last one being a rare ring that I can't remember the name of).  That game is sooo addicting :)

If I find out who cut my cable, I'm taking him/her  out at the knees!
