So, I was just informed, via text message that I have been engaged to my Fiance' for a year.


Question is...is this worthy of making it a big deal?  Or will just getting some flowers on the way home from work and cooking dinner enough?  She isn't making it out to seem like a big deal, but for christ's sake...she a woman...so how she is acting isn't necessarily a indication how she feels.


I think I will grab some flowers on the way home....hopefully that will be enough..

Maybe it has also been one year of paying off the rock she's wearing on her left hand. Text that, two months salary bs!\r You can use the wedding as an excuse of not making a bigger deal. After the wedding, the engagement date is generally forgotten.

We are going to go to dinner tonight. That and a small bundle of flowers that I told her I wasn't going to get and I should be safe.\r \r Thank god the wedding is in 11 weeks or so
